“Sugar Baby”


Created using organically grown and sustainably foraged flowers from my farm that have been traditionally slow-pressed.

The flowers will fade and change color overtime as I don’t use preservatives, sealants or artificial drying methods to maintain their appearance but that is one of the most interesting aspects of this art.

To preserve them for as long as possible keep them out of direct sunlight and away from humid environments.

Sugar Baby is the variety of watermelon that was pressed for this piece. It also contains rudbeckia, lantana, paperwhites, grape leaves, tulsi, yarrow, dusty miller, celosia, and parsley flowers.

Cased in a 9″X12″ white frame with plexiglass for safer handling.
